Georgian Court North is a small 55+ co-op in northern Fort Lauderdale. Built in the late 60s, it is made up of 6 two-story buildings, interconnected by a series of bridges used for sunbathing. It is situated across the street from Pine Crest High School, so it is a great option for local community enthusiasts. The buildings utilizes interior hallways and shared laundry facilities, but does not have elevators. There are 143 units in total, which range from 650 to 950sqft. They feature 1 or 2 bedrooms, 1 or 1.5 bathrooms, and views of the community gardens or heated pool. The community is managed by Georgian Court North Co-ops Inc., which provides building maintenance and assigned parking for one vehicle. The association does not allow pets, non-passenger vehicles, or leasing during the first two years of ownership. The community prides itself on its active social committee, which organizes frequent parties and events. Further amenities include shuffleboard, a picnic area, clubhouse, and more.
