The Pines of Delray West Community
The Pines of Delray West is a 55+ community located in southern Delray Beach. It is made up of 29 two-story “8-plex” condo buildings, and 14 single-story attached villas with 4 units per building. Constructed from 1977 to 1983, there are 288 homes in total. All homes have assigned parking space, with guest parking available. Units feature 2 bedrooms, eat-in kitchens, in-unit laundry, and spacious balconies/lanais, some with beautiful lakefront views. Condo buildings feature outdoor walkways but don’t have elevators. The community is managed by Pines of Delray West Condominium Association, Inc., which provides upkeep and maintenance, and a range of amenities including a clubhouse, fitness room, tennis courts, large pool, bocce, billiards, and more. The association does not allow pets, commercial/recreational vehicles, or motorcycles. Compared to most 55+ neighborhoods in Delray, The Pines of Delray West is close to the beach, and all the excitement of Downtown Delray. It is also less than a mile from I-95, and the Tri-Rail Brightline train systems, making the rest of South Florida highly accessible.
