The Pines of Delray North
The Pines of Delray North is a gated 55+ community comprised of 1 or 2-story "8-plex" condo buildings. Constructed on 77 acres in the early 80s, there are 700 units in total. Most of the buildings overlook beautiful lakes, with some providing access to docks and recreational boating on a small lake. All buildings feature screened porches, in-unit laundry, and updated eat-in kitchens. Buildings contain stairs and outdoor walkways, but do not have elevators. The community is managed by the Pines of Delray North Association, Inc., which does not allow pets, and provides one assigned parking space per unit. The association provides a robust series of amenities: 2 clubhouses, fitness center, pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, pickleball, numerous special interest clubs/events, and more. Once residents leave the security of the 24-hour manned gatehouse, they have quick access to I-95 and the Florida Tri-Rail, and are mere minutes from the excitement of Downtown Delray. Additional shopping includes the Boynton Beach Mall, and the newly-constructed Delray Marketplace.
