Seagate of Highland is a waterfront 55+ community in Highland Beach. Constructed in 1970, it is made up of 316 condos among four, 10-story high-rise buildings on the intercoastal waterway. Residents above the third floor enjoy ocean views as well. The buildings are arranged around a lush tropical garden and courtyard, clubhouse, fitness center, BBQ pavilion, and private dock. Units range from 981 to 1,636sqft, containing 1 to 3 bedrooms and 1.5 to 3 bathrooms. Most units feature open floorplans, walk-in closets, and spacious screened balconies to soak in the stunning views. The community is managed by Seagate of Highland Condominiums, Inc., which provides cable, maintenance, insurance, parking, and more. The association only allows two small canaries or parakeets to be kept as pets, and places further restrictions on leasing and vehicles (see below). Situated in between Delray Beach and Boca Raton, residents have access to premier range of South Florida excitement at hubs such as Downtown Delray, Mizner Park, and of course, miles of sunny beaches.
