Palm Lake Estates is a gated, 55+ community made up of roughly 925 stationary mobile homes. Construction began in 1970, and homes are available on a re-sale, or new-construction basis. The community was officially established as a co-op in 1985. A co-op is a unique type of governing association that has some significant differences from an HOA.
