Oakland Villas
Oakland Villas is a community of detached single family homes tucked into a peaceful corner of Oakland Estates. Situated near shopping, dining, houses of worship, and health care, it is an affordable opportunity to live under 10 miles from the beach. Traveling to the west, you will find sprawling nature and premier outlet shopping at Sawgrass Mills, and to the east is the quirky nightlife hub of Wilton Drive. Constructed throughout the 60s, it is made up of nearly 850 homes in total. The northern half of the community is specifically designated for 55+ residents. With floorplans ranging from 1,421 to 3,119sqft, there is a broad range of options available. All homes have driveways that can accommodate 3 vehicles, and an attached garage/carport. Most home feature a Florida Room, or some sort of screened outdoor seating. The community is managed by Villa Maintenance Inc. via The CREAM Group, which keeps HOA dues to a bare minimum by keeping services streamlined - residents pay a little under $100 monthly for lawn care and trash removal. A portion of fees go towards membership at the nearby Oakland Club, which provides a top-notch set of amenities: active social clubs, a fitness center, pool area, tennis court, and much more. Pets must not exceed 30lbs, and commercial vehicles and motorcycles are prohibited. For travel, the Florida Turnpike is 2 miles away, and Fort Lauderdale International Airport is just over 10 miles.
