South Florida Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters

Pet sitter/dog walker networks have become quite popular over the last five years. Pet parents find it very convenient to download a mobile app where they can browse through a large list of professionals to choose from. The pet sitter profiles include a short bio, a photo, a list of specialties, services offered, a fee schedule, and reviews from past clients. In most cases, networks require pet sitters to undergo a background check but read their guarantee closely to make sure. The networks usually provide insurance coverage in case your pet is injured under the sitter’s care. Be sure to research the network’s insurance policy to determine what will be covered if an incident does occur and read about their standard operating procedures for dealing with emergencies.

Most petcare network apps provide a wealth of information to put your mind at ease. You will be notified when the sitter arrives and leaves so you know that your chosen professional is sticking to your pup’s schedule. Most apps will have a GPS function so that you can track your fur baby’s route while he/she is being walked. Pet sitters can also upload photos so you can see evidence that your pup is happy. For greater convenience, you can schedule visits and even set up automatic payments.
