Rent “Fun Bikes” on Hollywood Broadwalk (Hollywood) rent a banana yellow recumbent cruiser from Skip’s Bike Shack and cruise the beautiful redone Broadwalk for miles, you can stop for ice cream along the way and take periodic dips in the ocean. 2. Guided Trail Rides at Tradewinds Park & Stables on horseback Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Pony rides are available too. All rides must be reserved no later than 3 p.m. the day before the ride, although they can also be reserved several weeks in advance by calling 954.357.8720 to schedule. All group rides are $35 plus tax per person.
2. Meadows Park (Boynton Beach) Great place for a day trip & picnic with the kids! Basketball court, BBQ grills, benches, bike rack, bocce court, drinking fountain, fitness trail (1/2-mile path with 11-exercise stations), gazebo, open play area, pavilion, picnic tables, playground, rental shelters, tennis courts, volleyball court.

2. Ski-Rixen Wakeboarding and waterskiing park- no boat needed! (Deerfield Beach) Kids can learn to water ski at a cable resort! They start on a kneeboard, waterski, slalom ski, wakeboard and more- you can try too!
3. Coconut Cove Waterpark and Community Center (Boca Raton) Outdoor park featuring a lazy river, lap pool, big waterslides & a water playground, plus concessions with lots of parking and shade.
4. KIDS EAT FREE AT JUMBY BAY ISLAND GRILL (Abacoa- Jupiter) KIDS EAT FREE every Monday and Tuesday with an adult entrée purchase.
5. Loxahatchee River: Our favorite destination for a breathtaking all ages adventure from Riverbend Park in Jupiter just west of the I-95/Turnpike meeting point on Indiantown Road. You can rent a boat there and paddle as far as Trapper Nelson’s if you like through a magical place that takes you back in time under the cover of huge cypress trees & tropical bromeliads. down a winding fast moving river with a few small waterfalls (you can paddle over) and alligators, manatees and tremendous bird watching. Experience one of Florida’s only Federally designated “Wild and Scenic Rivers,” that will take your breath away. Rent Bikes, Kayaks & Canoes at Jupiter Outdoor Center in Riverbend Park.
6. Zoo Miami (Miami) Zoo Miami (also known as The Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens) is the largest and oldest zoological garden in Florida and the only sub-tropical zoo in the continental United States, you can rent surrey bikes for the family, there’s plenty of shade and the wildlife encounters are unforgettable!

Oleta River State Park (North Miami Beach) with just over a thousand acres this incredible natural oasis is Florida’s largest urban park and a wonderland for mountain bikers, paddlers, swimmers and fisherman. Enjoy a picnic along scenic Biscayne Bay or unwind at the end of a fishing pole. You can get a guide for a paddling tour or rent equipment through the Oleta River Outdoor Center. There are rustic, air-conditioned cabins, too, along with a youth campground for organized groups.
9. Future Veterinarians camp and Zany Zoology camp (Boca Raton) Expose them to something educational and furry while learning from professionals, great for ages 5-11 years old.
10. TGIFamily (West Palm Beach – The Square) Make it a night out with the whole family. Catch a sing along with Chloe's Kids from 5-5:45PM, hands on activities with Cox Science Center and Rhythm & Hues from 6-8PM, and live music and lawn games from 6-10PM.

37. Spady Museum (Delray Beach) Cultural Heritage Museum is a museum of African-American history in Delray Beach. It is housed in the former home of the late Solomon David Spady, a prominent African-American educator and community leader.

Everglades National Park (South of Miami) which was set up to protect an unparalleled landscape and sheltering habitats for many rare and endangered species like American crocodile, manatees, and the elusive Florida panther. A World Heritage Site, International Biosphere Reserve, a Wetland of International Importance, and a specially protected area under the Cartagena Treaty. If you haven't been here, go, You are missing out. There are several kayak trails in the park: Nine Mile Pond, Bear Lake Canoe Trail, Hell's Bay Canoe Trail and Noble Hammock.

MacArthur Beach State Park (North Palm Beach) is a stunning FULL SUN paddle through the salt water marshes and into the intracoastal waterway around the mangroves and out to Munyon Island, across Lake Worth. 46. Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge (Boynton Beach) The nature center was remodeled with interactive displays about the Everglades and Florida's wildlife. Teaches children to crawl under the Mangroves to discover what lives underwater and another takes the children on a night-hike through the Everglades. A simulated airboat ride is also available in the air-conditioned center, and outside is the boardwalk though the wetlands. Plus- there is a butterfly garden!

Markham Park (Sunrise) is huge at 669 acres its home to extensive mountain bike trails, the Fox Observatory, campgrounds, a radio controlled airplane field, a dog park called Barkham Park, jogging trails, fishing and boating areas, sports fields of all kinds, nature trails and programs, skeet and trap, sporting clay stands, a outdoor rifle and pistol range, archery range and five stand. Plus there's an amazing model airplane field where you can watch incredible competitions!
2. Bedner's Farm (Boynton Beach) lots of seasonal festivals and weekend events including food trucks, hay rides, and you-pick opportunities. The farm originally produced cucumbers and peppers but offers a wide array of locally grown fruits, vegetables and products.
3. Indian Key Historic State Park (Islamorada) is an outstanding kayak destination. The historic island is a ghost town with ruins overgrown by jungle and great snorkeling along its rocky shore. 4. Yesteryear Village (West Palm Beach) A 10 Acre living history park where you will experience, discover and step back in time amid period artifacts, shop in a General Store, stroll through museums, and take in interpreters stories about life prior to 1940.
5. West Delray Regional Park (Delray Beach) mountain biking has a 5 mile single track and beautiful views and picnic areas! Watch the boats go by, keep up with the model airplanes flying and bring a kite for extra fun.
6. Colohatchee Park (Wilton Manors) rents kayaks and paddle boards and has restrooms and picnic tables. Tour the Middle River in Fort Lauderdale, an urban waterway that circles Wilton Manors. The Middle River is a smooth and easy way kayak and stand up paddleboard. You will find a patches of of mangroves and undeveloped land, it's also a tour of Wilton Manors neighborhoods and stunning landscaping. You might also see some heron, manatee's or giant iguanas.
7. Bright & Smart (Boca Raton) camps that get the mind flowing! Children 5-15 years old learn the basics of coding and robotics, Drones & Apps, Engineering Gadgets, Exploring Space Missions, and Head on Deep Sea Missions.
8. Project Fashion Design & Sewing Camp (Boca Raton) 4 day camp with three summer sessions to get your child excited about design.
9. McDonald Water Park (Hialeah) Great for little ones, lazy river and splash pad with a wave pool and lots of seating for the adults, unless you want to brave the waterfall!

Picower Boundless Park Splash Pad and Playground (Lake Worth) 1996 Center Dr, Lake Worth- kids will have a great time splashing in the many fountains, climbing the giant pirate ship and running through the 4 different playgrounds. Plus there's a nice bathroom and lots of picnic areas for adults.
13. Whiskey Creek (Dania Beach) is in the last undeveloped ecosystem in Broward County, just south of Port Everglades, Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson Beach State Park. Its a brackish tidal creek that's great for paddle boarding and kayaking. You can rent kayaks and book eco tours, sunset and full moon tours here too. When you're finished grab food and drinks at the café over the water!
14. Liberty Park Splashpad and playgrounds (Parkland) Complete with barbecue grills, horse corral, pavilions, playground, restrooms and amazing water play area!
15. Castaway Island (Hollywood) in Topeekeegee Yugnee Park, swim lagoon, fountains, great slides and so much fun for the whole day- also bike paths, basketball, fishing, fitness facilities, playgrounds tennis, volleyball and picnic areas.
16. Fun & Fitness (Boca Raton) 6 4 day sessions for children 5-11 years old in the park learning the basics of fitness and how to incorporate it into your play, and everyday life.
17. C.B. Smith Park (Pembrook Pines) One of the area's most diverse places to visit with kids, it offers a sprawling water park with four 50-foot-tall waterslides and a lazy river, a large campground, AllGolf – a family golfing center, campgrounds, biking, racquetball, volleyball, fishing, a tennis complex and lots of open area to play!
18. West Lake Park (Hollywood) kayaking is a great for a beginner to try out kayaking or canoeing, with reasonably priced rentals seven days a week. The calm trails are attractive, mangrove-lined narrow channels scattered with osprey, blue herons, scarlet ibis, kingfishers, roseate spoonbills, vultures, armies of fun crabs and a smattering of other wildlife.
19. The Markham Park airfield (Sunrise) offers more than 50 acres of ground space for takeoff and landing of remote-control model planes and helicopters and is one of the finest in the country! An Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) license and a Markham Park flying badge/card (available at park office) are required to fly at the field, but its a really great way to spend a day watching the tricksters fly and have a picnic.
20. John Prince Park (Lake Worth) Open year round, this brightly colored, accessible 3700-sf, interactive playground is located in the popular Boundless™ playground, kids will stay busy with the splashpad for hours and bring their bikes- there are miles and miles of paths to ride!
21. Lake Lytal Family Aquatic Center (West Palm Beach) features water slides, open swimming, swimming lessons, swim teams and pavilion and umbrella rentals.
22. The Okeeheelee BMX Track in Okeeheelee Park (West Palm Beach) is operated by the Okeeheelee BMX Parents Council, and is open to all members of USA BMX. Membership is open to anyone interested in BMX racing! plus there's a jumps course too! Not there yet? the park is ready for riders at every level and has smooth paved paths, off road tracks and trails for every level.
23. Disc Golf at West Delray Regional Park (Delray Beach) on an official 18 hole course, get out in the fresh air, pack a cooler, and play outside!
24. Boomers (Boca Raton) Go Karts, bumper cars, arcade games, batting cages, ice cream, mini golf, water guns off floating mini boats! Take them, at least once.
25. Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park (Wellington) Large-scale indoor trampoline center hosting open jump, fitness classes, dodgeball & parties.
