Lakes of Delray Community
The Lakes of Delray is a gated, active 55+ community located in central Delray Beach. It is made up of two or three-story condo buildings, all situated around a series of 10 lakes. There are a number of building styles to choose from, and all feature elevators and outdoor walkways. The community was constructed in the mid 80s to mid 90s, and there are nearly 500 units in total. Homes feature eat-in kitchens, separate showers, and in-unit laundry appliances. The Lakes of Delray, Inc. does not allow pets, permits leasing after the first year of ownership, and provides one assigned parking space per unit. The community provides a healthy mix of transportation, amenities, and recreational facilities. The Palm Beach County Bus Service makes multiple stops in the community, and multiple highways and train stations are within miles. Residents also enjoy easy access to the beach, Downtown Delray, and Delray Marketplace.
