Colonial Ridge Club is a gated beachfront 55+ community in Ocean Ridge. Nestled east of Boynton Beach, it offers easy access to the excitement of nearby Downtown Delray Beach and Boynton’s rapidly developing city center. Residents enjoy coveted private beach access, and the only oceanfront gazebo in the city. Constructed in 1969, it is made up of thirteen 2-story buildings, with 121 units in total. The buildings utilize outdoor entryways instead of elevators, and offer common laundry facilities. Some units come equipped with in-unit laundry, and most have been updated to meet modern design standards. The community is managed by Colonial Ridge Inc., which operates as a co-op – buyers purchase shares of the Colonial Ridge corporation in exchange for their unit. Monthly dues cover maintenance, exterior building insurance, and an impressive set of amenities. The community prides itself on its active clubhouse and social calendar, as well as its beautiful pool facilities. Please note that the community is pet-free, and only permits passenger vehicles to park on the premises overnight. Two leases are permitted annually after the first year of ownership, with a minimum term of 3 months. For commuters, I-95 and the Tri-Rail station are under 5 miles away.
