Tarelton Manor is an active, vibrant 55+ co-op in Lighthouse point. Situated near shopping, dining, golf, health care, houses of worship, and waterfront excitement, anything a South Floridian could want is at your fingertips. All of its buildings are 2-stories, and are arranged in a rectangle around the community lawns, clubhouse, pool, and shuffleboard courts. Please note that the buildings use outdoor entryways instead of elevators, and that shared laundry facilities are provided. All of its 89 homes feature 1 or 2 bedrooms, and a breezy screened balcony. The grounds are managed by Tarelton Manor Apartments, Inc., which prides itself on its well-manicured grounds, social atmosphere, and convenient location. Residents gather for regular happy hours, barbeques, holiday events, and even an annual shuffleboard tournament. Like many co-ops in the area, only cash offers are accepted. The community is pet-free, and does not allow leasing during the first year of ownership. Only 1 parking space is provided per unit, with guest parking highly limited. For commuting, I-95 and the Tri-Rail train system are under 5 miles to the west, and Fort Lauderdale International Airport is 16 miles to the south.
