Ro-Len Lake Gardens is a 55+ cash-only co-op in southwestern Hallandale Beach. It sits in a fairly quiet corner of the city, while also offering quick access to I-95, and all the fun of nearby Miami, Hollywood, and Aventura. Fort Lauderdale Airport is also under 10 miles to the north. Constructed in the early 60s, the community is made up of 18 two-story buildings, with 384 units in total. There are 1 or 2 bedroom floorplans available, measuring 625 or 848sqft respectively. The buildings each offer outdoor walkways, common laundry, and assigned parking for one vehicle. 11 of the buildings surround the central community lake, offering beautiful waterfront views. The community is managed by Ro-Len Lake Gardens Corporation, which provides maintenance, courtesy bus service, and an impressive array of amenities. The community prides itself on its active and social atmosphere - many special interest clubs, events, and, fitness classes are regularly scheduled. Residents enjoy attending aquatic fitness sessions, poker nights, dance classes, and much more. The community is pet-free, and guest parking is highly limited (guest parking cannot be used for a second vehicle). Two rentals per year are permitted after 12 months of ownership.
