Floral Lakes is a gated, walkable 55+ community located in western Delray Beach. Constructed in the late 90s, it is made up of 589 attached villas that surround a series of ponds. Homes feature attached garages, 2 or 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a classic Mediterranean design complete with red ceramic roofing. Most units boast vaulted ceilings, open floorplans, screened patios, laundry appliances, and waterfront views. The community is managed by Floral Lakes Community Association's which provides cable, security, maintenance, and a broad range of amenities including an Olympic-size pool, tennis courts, fitness center, aerobics studio, arts studio, mini-golf course, and more. The association allows two pets per household with a 40lb limit for each, motorcycles are prohibited, and pickup trucks must be parked in garages overnight.
