Colonial House is a community of 55+ condo buildings in Hallandale Beach. It is ideally located to enjoy all that South Florida has to offer – residents are near both Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and have local access to the beach, shopping, and gambling/racing at hubs such as Aventura Mall and Gulfstream Park. Built in 1978, it is made up of 73 units across three 2-story buildings. They utilize outdoor walkways, elevators, and shared laundry facilities. Units range from 544sqft to 775sqft, with 1 and 2 bedroom floorplans available. Most units have been updated with open concept kitchens, high impact glass, and ample closet space. The community is managed by the Colonial House Condominium Inc., which provides maintenance, assigned parking for one vehicle, and amentias such as a community pool, picnic area, and shuffleboard courts. The community allows one rental per year without a waiting period, but does not allow pets. I-95 and the Tri-Rail train system is under 5 miles away, and Fort Lauderdale International Airport is under 10 miles.
